Lara Northrop Queen is an Intellectual Property attorney with extensive experience in patent procurement, due diligence evaluations and patent portfolio management. Lara provides client counseling on all stages of intellectual property development and protection through patent landscape and clearance evaluations, intellectual property due diligence, and strategic patent prosecution. She counsels clients on validity and infringement of patents, licensing, agreement and opinion matters, and enforcement of intellectual property.
Lara has extensive experience in medical device, consumer products, and physics-based technologies, including infusion and implant technologies, anesthesia and surgical tools, injection products, imaging systems, specimen collection and management products, diagnostic tools, disposal solutions, therapeutic and rehabilitation systems, and patient safety programs. She regularly evaluates competitor technologies and patent portfolios and advises clients on potential risks and opportunities. Lara works closely with clients to develop effective patent strategies that protect client innovations and enable commercialization.
