Bio
Kirk M. Miles is an Intellectual Property attorney with a background in chemistry and business administration. Kirk handles all phases of intellectual property law. He focuses his practice on prosecution and protection of technology in various technical disciplines including the chemical and mechanical arts, with an emphasis on medical devices and implant technology. Kirk holds a B.S. in chemistry from Gannon University and a J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly the Franklin Pierce Law Center), an internationally recognized school for intellectual property law. Prior to joining The Webb Law Firm, Kirk worked with an intellectual property law firm in the New Jersey-New York metropolitan area. In 2000, he returned to his roots in Western Pennsylvania and joined The Webb Law Firm.
Kirk has particular expertise counseling clients on pre-litigation matters including evaluating infringement issues, design-around strategies and legal opinion writing.
